Revised 'Lite Bets' Layout

Results Summary for Thursday.

A run through yesterdays results to help explain the revised postings as of August.

•  Before racing I am now posting a 'pre-list' replacing the Early Bets List.

• The pre-list has usually one or two higher risk races eliminated. These are marked in Red on RH side of race/time (column G)

• The pre-list is the list of races marked up in Orange (column M) These are all the 'Potential' Dutch Frames which can be identified before racing. They need to be checked against a few simple criteria before each race before the y go Live as bets.

•  In the pre-list any potential Dutch Frame of either 2 or 3 runners is marked up 'Dutch' = a straight unweighted Dutch Bet. Dutch Frames of 4 runners or higher are usually, where available, marked up as the fav_Hedge bet. Finally if this Bet is not viable in a particular race it is dropped to the standard Dutch Bet.
• When results are posted any race from the pre-list backable Live is marked up Green (column M)
• On the RH side (columns AJ-AL) are the full ATO bets for comparison. There may be additional bets shown which couldn't be included in the pre-list.

 Pre-list races which didn't check out near the off are left displayed Orange.
Yesterday:
13;30 Wolv. No Bet The 3 runner Dutch frame was not available near the off - so a No bet for results purposes although it could be matched earlier. At the Off the market tightened to a 2 runner frame which in this race still met the criteria for a Live ATO bet.
17;35 Sligo. No Bet - again the frame could not be matched. In this race the educed 3 runner frame did not meet the criteria for the ATO bet
18;35 Newc - ditto.
20;30 Leop. No Bet. The 5 runner Dutch frame in this race failed to develop the clear Price Gap required. The 5th runner in the frame was unclear with below 2pts Gap to the next runner (and in this case the 7th in the market)

So in summary there were 4 races from the pre-list yesterday which were Not Live bets. Leaving 5 races selected Live. On the right you can see there were 7 Live opportunities with the full ATO information.



Because there are a few simple checks near race time liquidity is no longer an issue.
Checks to apply are simply

1. The same Dutch Frame size.
2. A clear Price Gap of 2pts between Dutch Frame and Next runner in the market (1.5pts is ok if stable)
3. Minimum return on standard Dutch Bets  - 45 (or pro-rata against 486 bet size)
4. If fav_Hedge bet no longer achievable replace with standard Dutch Bet if possible only using the same frame size

Although the Early Bets format is discarded as failed it remains often possible to take an improved return by placing the bet Early. It still requires the near the race checks.
